What is Resveratrol?
Resveratrol is natural antimicrobial substance (phytoalexin), a very strong antioxidant, which is contained in peels of some fruit and also is produced by different plants for protection from parasites and bacteria. The biggest concentration of Resveratrol can be found in the plant Polygonum cuspidatum (Fallopia japonica) and in red wine.
Medicine pays attention at Resveratrol thanks to its antioxidant, antitumor and rejuvenating qualities. There exists a great deal of researches proving the efficiency of Resveratrol against oncological diseases, diabetes, obesity (Resveratrol increases tolerance for glucose), and also heart diseases.
